Ogre Arms is happy to handle your inbound or outbound transfer processing. We are listed on Gunbroker.com and charge a standard fee of $25.00 for inbound and outbound transfers; and a flat fee for shipping outbound transfers ($40.00 for handguns, $50.00 for long guns and AR-pistols). Military (active duty, reserve, National Guard), first responders and teachers law enjoy a 40% discount on transfer fees. This includes the Virginia State Police background check fee and sales tax!

Transfer Pickup: Inbound transfers will be retained for 30 days without charge. If the firearm is not picked up, efforts will be made to make arrangements for storage for up to 60 days at reasonable storage fee rates ($1/day for handguns & $2/day for long guns). If no contact with the buyer is made after reasonable attempts, or the buyer does not pay fees, the firearm will be considered abandoned and disposed of in accordance with Virginia Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act (§ 55.1-2500 et seq.).
